I am excited you are considering taking a risk and stepping out of your comfort zone in hopes of finding your azimuth. As we work together to find your azimuth, we will work towards the hope, healing, and peace you need. I am genuinely excited and honored about the prospect of working with you through the issues in your life. I consider what I do a calling and a ministry. As such, I pour all of who I am into what I do.
Before we get started, let me tell introduce myself. As you already read above, my name is Aron. I am an endorsed and ordained Christian minister. I am a (final year) doctoral candidate. I am a Board Certified Chaplain and Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. I am the Director of Azimuth Christian Counseling and I am a retired U.S. Army Chaplain with two Combat Deployments. I specialize in working with individuals in crisis and those struggling with emotional and relational issues. I am certified by the Association of Certified Christian Chaplains, The Spiritual Care Association, The American Association of Christian Counselors and The American Association of Pastoral Counselors. I hold a Masters of Arts in Spiritual Formation/Chaplaincy from Regent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries/Missions from Asbury University. I also hold The Ministry to High Risk and Vulnerable Population Certificate from The Spiritual Care Association as well as having completed the Army's Combat Medical Ministry Course at Fort Sam Houston.
I am a member of and/or hold credentials with: the American Association of Christian Counselors, the Association of Certified Christian Chaplains, the Institute for Clinical Pastoral Training, the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, The American Association of Pastoral Counselors and The Spiritual Care Association.
I believe that evidence-based Christian counseling that engages the mind, body, and soul with exposure to ritual and nature will help bring victory and transformation to anyone in almost any situation.
We live in a culture that wants things fast, and easy. We want things without effort or sacrifice. Redemptive holistic healing and transformation through spiritual counseling isn't one of the things that is going to come fast or easy. Nothing in life worth having is easy. The process will take time, patience, grace and dogged determination, but what you learn about yourself and the transformation that takes place will be worth it.
If this strikes a chord within you and you are willing to take the first step towards a better tomorrow while committing to putting in hard work and trusting the process; I would be honored to walk the trenches with you towards healing, hope, redemption, and victory. With God, all things are possible! It's time to cast the doubt, lies, and pain aside. Breakthrough and Victory are just ahead. To get there, first, we need to find your AZIMUTH.
